Good journalism is not complicated. Report the facts. Name your sources. Correct your mistakes. Publish nothing you cannot stand behind.
That is what The Edge Post was built to do.
Founded in Washington in April 2026, The Edge Post is a digital news publication covering the full range of stories that shape how people live, work, and think. Politics and world affairs. Technology and science. Sports and entertainment. Celebrity news, automotive, gaming, business, health, and culture. We cover it all, and we cover it the same way regardless of the beat.
Why This Publication Exists
Digital news publishing has a serious credibility problem. The internet made it easier than ever to publish, and in the years since, a flood of low-quality outlets have traded accuracy for traffic. Headlines are written to provoke rather than inform. Opinion is packaged as reporting. Corrections are buried or never issued at all.
Readers noticed. Trust in digital media has been eroding for years, and not without reason.
The Edge Post was started because that gap needed filling. Washington has no shortage of news consumers who want accurate, clearly reported information delivered without the noise. This publication exists to serve them directly, across every topic they follow.
Who Runs This Publication
The Edge Post is founded and run by Tony S. Elder, a Washington-based journalist with more than six years of professional reporting experience. Tony began his career working with local publishers in Washington, where he covered community news, breaking stories, and public affairs under daily deadline pressure. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
He reports, writes, and edits every story published on this site. There is no anonymous contributor network here, no outsourced content, no bylines attached to names that cannot be verified. Every piece published on The Edge Post carries real editorial accountability.

How We Report
Every story published on The Edge Post follows the same editorial process regardless of subject matter.
Claims are verified before publication. Sources are named wherever possible. Wire reports and official statements are cross-referenced against original documentation. When a story is developing, it is labeled as such. When the facts are not yet clear, we say so rather than speculate.
We do not publish sponsored content disguised as editorial. We do not write headlines designed to mislead. We do not treat unverified rumors as news. Opinion, when published, is clearly labeled and separated from straight reporting.
This is not an ambitious standard. It is the baseline standard. It is what news publishing requires, and it is what this publication holds itself to on every story.
Corrections Policy
The Edge Post corrects errors. Every time, without exception.
When a factual error is identified, whether reported by a reader or caught in our own review, it is corrected promptly and noted transparently within the story. We do not quietly edit mistakes out of published articles without acknowledgment. Readers who trusted a story deserve to know when something in it has changed.
If you believe we have published an error, contact us. We will review it and respond.
Contact and Tips
We welcome news tips, source introductions, press releases, and corrections requests. If you have a story we should be covering, we want to hear about it.
