Drake Maye finished with a career-high 380 passing yards and two touchdowns, but the number that mattered most from the night was 139 โ the yards he put up in the fourth quarter alone while pulling the New England Patriots from an 11-point hole to a 28-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on December 21, 2025. The victory clinched New England’s playoff spot and left Baltimore clinging to a postseason lifeline at 7-8.
Derrick Henry ran 18 times for 128 yards and scored twice to keep the Ravens ahead for much of the second half. After his 2-yard go-ahead touchdown with 12:50 remaining, Henry did not touch the ball again. On Baltimore’s next two possessions โ the ones that decided the game โ Henry stood on the sideline. Maye went 12-of-14 during that stretch, hit Kyle Williams on a 37-yard touchdown pass, then handed off to Rhamondre Stevenson for the 21-yard winning run with 2:07 left.
Lamar Jackson had gone 7-of-10 for 101 yards before taking a knee to the lower back from Patriots safety Craig Woodson late in the second quarter and walking off the field for good. Tyler Huntley replaced him and went 9-of-10 for 65 yards in the second half โ composed but unable to hold the lead. Zay Flowers fumbled with 1:48 left to settle it, dropping Baltimore two games behind Pittsburgh in the AFC North with two weeks remaining in the 2025 regular season.

In-Game Injuries
New England Patriots: TreVeyon Henderson โ head injury (Q2, did not return) ยท Joshua Farmer โ hamstring ยท Charles Woods โ ankle ยท DeMario Douglas โ hamstring ยท Khyiris Tonga โ foot
Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson โ back bruise (Q2, did not return, ruled out late Q3) ยท Andrew Vorhees โ foot
Henry ran for 128 yards on 18 carries, scored twice, and still ended up on the losing side of a box score that told a different story by the end. The Patriots outgained Baltimore 453 yards to 330 in total offense and held the ball for nearly four minutes more โ but the game came down to what happened after Henry’s go-ahead score, and there Maye was 12-of-14 with 139 yards while the Ravens could not hold the ball long enough to close it out.
New England left Baltimore at 12-3 and unbeaten through seven road games in Mike Vrabel’s first season as head coach. The Ravens dropped to 7-8, two games behind Pittsburgh in the AFC North with their quarterback’s availability for the following week uncertain. Jackson had come in with a back bruise; the Ravens came out with their season narrowed to a two-game margin they could no longer control on their own.
